What we do

How we help

Every project is scoped to what you need. These are the pieces we deliver most often.

Day-to-day social media management

Posting, replies to comments and messages, and reposting partner, sponsor and customer content on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook, with an approval step your team controls. See social media management.

Recruiting and culture video

The floor, the shift and the people, cut for careers pages, job posts and social, plus employee recognition and anniversary videos.

Plant and product photography

Equipment, process, finished parts and the people running them, cleared against your no-film list before anything is published.

Event and trade show coverage

Launches, open houses, car shows, races and trade shows, with a recap film and short interview clips. See event videography.

Capability and brand films

Scale, capacity and what makes you different, for sales decks, trade show screens and the website. See video production.

Facility aerials and FPV tours

Plant, yard and campus from the air, or one continuous shot from the dock to the production floor. See industrial drone video.

RAW Digital Group is a Detroit marketing agency for manufacturers, suppliers and engineering firms. It runs day-to-day social media, including messages, comments and partner reposts, and produces the photo, video, drone and event content for it with its own crew, under each plant's safety and no-film rules.

Updated

Most manufacturers post when there is a ribbon cutting

Then the accounts go quiet for months. That costs more than it looks like: customers, partners and job applicants check a company’s LinkedIn and Instagram before they call, and a page that last posted in spring reads as a company that is not hiring and not growing. We keep the accounts active every day, and we fill them with content shot at your plant, your events and your launches.

Run day to day, with your sign-off

Our social media management covers the work that usually falls on an engineer or an HR coordinator with no time for it: a monthly calendar, posting, replies to comments and messages, and reposting the partners, sponsors and customers who tag you. Nothing goes out without approval from the person you choose. See social media management for how a plan is built.

Content from the floor, without giving away the process

Manufacturing has the most interesting footage in the region and the most reasons to keep some of it private. Before every shoot we agree a no-film list: proprietary processes, restricted areas, screens, badges and anything under NDA. Our crew follows your orientation, PPE and escort rules, and every frame goes to your team for review before it is published.

Recruiting and culture

More than 585,000 people work in manufacturing in Michigan, according to preliminary Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates for July 2026, and most plants are competing for the same skilled trades. Video of the actual floor, the shift and the people who work there does more for a careers page than a stock photo of a hard hat. We also produce employee recognition and work-anniversary videos, which double as culture content.

Engineering work

For a Michigan engineering company, we have produced at least six projects since 2025: employee milestone and recognition videos, a company culture film, event recaps from a company car show and a Detroit Smart Parking Lab event, and Detroit Grand Prix work. For aerials of plants, yards and campuses, see industrial drone video.

Process

How a project runs

No surprises. You know who is on your project, what it costs and when you get files.

Brief and no-film list

What you sell, who you are hiring, who approves posts, and what stays off camera: processes, screens, badges and restricted areas.

Content days on site

Scheduled shoots at the plant or event with your safety orientation, PPE and escort, capturing photo, video and drone in one visit.

Daily management

A monthly calendar, approvals, posting, replies and partner reposts, so the accounts stay active without your team running them.

Monthly report

Reach, followers, engagement, and, where trackable, applicants and inquiries from social, with the next month's plan.

Our team follows up with rates.

  • A Metro Detroit gym opening drew more than 1,000 guest-pass sign-ups.
  • A Shinola limited timepiece campaign sold out within hours.
  • A short-form campaign for a stable less than an hour from Detroit passed 450,000 views.
Sean, Paige and co. were always on-point, professional, and timely. Our video was gorgeous. It did an awesome job of presenting our company and building our brand.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Can you run our company's social media day to day?
Yes. RAW Digital Group runs social media for manufacturers and engineering firms day to day: a monthly content calendar, posting on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook, replies to comments and messages, and reposting partner, sponsor and customer content, with an approval step your team controls.
How do you handle confidential processes and plant safety?
Before any shoot, RAW Digital Group agrees a no-film list with you: proprietary processes, restricted areas, screens, badges and anything under NDA. The crew completes your site orientation and wears your required PPE, and every photo and cut goes to your team for review before it is published.
Do you produce the content too, or only post it?
Both. RAW Digital Group's own crew shoots the photography, short-form video, event recaps and drone aerials, so the accounts are filled with real footage of your plant, products and people instead of stock images.
Which social platforms matter most for a manufacturer?
LinkedIn usually carries sales, partner and engineering audiences, while Instagram, Facebook and TikTok help with recruiting skilled trades and showing culture. RAW Digital Group builds the plan around who you are trying to reach: buyers, partners, applicants or the local community.
Can you cover trade shows, car shows and races?
Yes. RAW Digital Group covers launches, open houses, trade shows, car shows and race weekends with photo and video, including recap films and short interview clips. Travel outside Metro Detroit is quoted with the project.
What does social media management for a manufacturer cost?
It depends on how many accounts, how much content is produced each month and whether paid ads are included. RAW Digital Group quotes it after a short discovery call; request rates on this page. Our social media management cost guide lists published market ranges for comparison.
